What We Provide

FOOD ASSISTANCE

Hunger follows fast when disaster or conflict hits. We deliver emergency food assistance to families affected by conflict, displacement, and drought, ensuring immediate access to nutrition while longer-term recovery efforts take hold. Our distributions prioritize the most vulnerable, including women, children, and the elderly, and are designed to reach even the hardest-to-access communities.

We work closely with local leaders to identify those most at risk, coordinate distributions to avoid duplication with other actors, and adjust our response as conditions on the ground change. Food assistance is often the first support a family receives in an emergency, and we treat that responsibility with urgency and care.

EMERGENCY SHELTER & NFIs

Displacement often means losing everything at once. We provide emergency shelter materials and essential non-food items — blankets, cooking sets, hygiene kits — so families can rebuild a sense of safety and stability, even in the hardest circumstances.

These items are distributed quickly following displacement or disaster, helping families protect themselves from the elements and meet basic daily needs while they begin to recover. We pay particular attention to the needs of women, children, and people with disabilities, ensuring that shelter and household items are appropriate, dignified, and sufficient for each family’s circumstances, not simply a one-size-fits-all response.

PROTECTION SUPPORT

Emergencies expose people to heightened risk, particularly women, children, and the displaced. We integrate protection support into every response, working to prevent harm, respond to urgent concerns, and uphold the safety of every person we assist.

Our teams are trained to identify risks early, refer cases to specialized services where needed, and ensure that every interaction — from registration to distribution — is conducted with safety and confidentiality in mind. Protection is never an afterthought in our work; it is built into how we design, deliver, and monitor every programme from the very beginning.
