African Relief & Development (ARD) is a Somali-founded humanitarian and development organisation established in 2000 in Wajid, Bakool Region, Somalia. The organisation operates within a structured and accountable framework, aligning its programmes with humanitarian principles, national priorities, and international standards. A strong focus is placed on building trusted partnerships that support consistent, community-driven impact across every region served.

We are committed to delivering life-saving, dignified, and accountable assistance that meets the needs of the communities we serve. Strict standards of transparency and monitoring are maintained at every stage, from programme design and implementation to evaluation and reporting.
